Chosen destination : Satay Kajang Haji Samuri. It's obvious that it was named after the pioneer of this satay (Haji Samuri) plus maybe he stayed in Kajang or was borned there (Satay Kajang). Heee. Satay kajang is so famous here. If you reach here (as in Kajang/Bangi or somewhere near it) and didn't try this satay, it would be a big loss! It's a must must visit places to eat.
But being famous does not surely ensure a 100% savour-licious taste. I beg to differ. Personally, I find it 'normal' and I've found other satays that taste even better. Especially the one near Masjid Hasanah (pergh sedaap!). It's coated with honey and the taste is superbly power! *two thumbs-up*
Back to satay kajang. Some people commented that it's expensive ; 70cents for a stick of chicken/meat. For me, it's a reasonable price because the size is bigger than the normal satay. Mother described it as puas makan satay ini. She and ayah love it. Haha. I guess orang tua love it than orang muda ini.
Recently, I tried eating satay ikan which costs 80 cents per stick. It's nice alhamdulillah. A change of taste is good at times :) Yeah. For a bolder and daring taste, we also tried satay arnab. Thinking that it's charged with the same price, we ordered one for each. Our bill showed RM 10.60 for 5 sticks of satay arnab. Shocked, we enquired for the price. Apparently, a stick cost RM2.00 plus the tax price! -.-!
I would described satay arnab as very liat. I really need to chew the meat hard and in the end, I just swallow it. Heee.
Satay ikan done. Satay arnab done. What's next?
Maybe satay unta...? Lolz.
