Crazy Over Photoshop

That’s one thing I’m crazy about.
Photoshop.

Not that I’m an expert in it.
Far from being a pro.

It’s just that I have a deep passion for it. Once I’m on it, I will have a hard time untangling myself from it.I picked up this skill very recently. Early this semester. It started, if I’m not mistaken during the one week of holiday. I’ve got nothing to do so I ‘visit’ my friend and learned from her.

I learned the basic.Very basic stuffs – move tool, text, paint bucket tool, rectangle tool and the colour tool. Frankly, I have hard time to move one picture from a new layer to another. Haha. That’s show I’m really a true basic learner. And I have difficulties to change colour layer too!
But nothing stop me. Passion motivates me to learn more. To know better. And of course to produce better and professional posters.
Not forgetting, credits to my two sifu friend who motivates me to produce my 1st poster! Yea! :) You know who u are *thumbs up*
My cikgu once said, everything you do do it for Islam. And that includes learning photoshop too. Do it for Islam. Let people know about Islam. Put quotation about Islam. Includes quran verses, hadith and words that encourage Islamic teachings.

One thing I’m able to pick up Photoshop skills in a short period is because of passion. Photoshop errm (certainly not bragging) is quite tough to get a grasp on it. You need time to practise on it, to explore it's tools and to learn how to use it properly. I'm now on Photoshop CS5. So its quite a new one and there's the latest one; CS6.
Once you have the passion, nothing can stop you. But once u lack of it, everything can be of a stop to you. 1001 reasons can be offered. Just name it. Its just like ehem, me & video. Boo!

I go through online tutorials.
I browse on the Internet for interesting posters.
To get new ideas, I looked around.
I surfed the net.
I you-tubed.
I signed up for classes. Classes organized by ISIUKM which is a weekly classes (4 weeks) & the recent one organized by Pembina (3-hours). Every lesson is a new thing for me. New discovery.

Here are some posters that I did myself.
I know it’s nothing compared to the posters outside there.
Far away from the pro posters.
But I’m still a beginner. Hoping to be better, each and every passing day.

Any comments, feel free to do so :)
