Dentist. Certainly not a favourite hotspot among people, especially kids. I've never been to a dentist voluntarily. All this while I've been called up for dentist appointment in school :) Dentist played an important role during my 3 years stay in UKM (T_T). It's the reason too why I'm now officially wisdom teethless. Sob sob.
Having an unbearable pain on my right side tooth, I made an appointment with the dentist. She (yeah. It's a female doctor) advised me to extract my left wisdom tooth as it affect the well-being of other teeth too. I surrendered. Few months later, the left side tooth started to follow in suit. Ache, unbearable pain and agony. This time, I surrendered too but with a much reluctance feeling.
It hurts to have your wisdom tooth been extracted. Firstly because it's at the very end of the mouth. So imagine the doctor (with an assistant) poring at the end part your mouth with different kinds of instruments. Tweezers, saliva ejector (banyak sangat airliur), syringes, burs, sickle and so on. Secondly, you really need to open your mouth wide for quite some time. Really really wide. Like mine, I opened it wide and it teared a bit. Thirdly, after undergoing the mini operation, you have to stuff your mouth (the place where you extract your teeth) with gauze dressing (kapas) to avoid excessive blood flow. Rasa macam nak muntaaah T_T
Thank You Pusat Pergigian UKM. I learned a lot about teeth. Brushing alone is not sufficient to clean our teeth. We need to brush throughly (at least, twice a day. It would be better to brush after lunch too), gargle our mouth with mouthwash and lastly, floss!
Happy teeth-ing people :)
