Cakes. Birthday. Happiness. Joy. Pleasure. Friendships. Bonds. Family love.
My family is not the type of family who celebrate birthdays formally. As in having a birthday blast, celebrating it like nobody business or having a gathering to open presents together. Nope. As I remembered, birthdays are just normal days except that my mum would cooked something special on that day. Or maybe presents from mak ayah and siblings.
It's not something to be embarassed at all. I would prefer it that way. Simple. It's the thought that actually counts. Especially the doa's.
I remembered my first every birthday cake when I was 19 years old (if I'm not mistaken). Wow. So young meh (lolz). That time I were studying in Syria. It was a chocolate cake bought by my closest friend Nur 'Atiqah Bte Sulaiman. We ate it together at our rented house Hannan and alhamdulillah, as it was my first cake ever, it seems so nice and delicious. Especially when you are overseas and far from beloved family, a small gesture like that can touched your heart deeply. As mine did :)
1.4.2013. I received a chocolate cake (not my second time..hee) and this time, it's from my musketeers friends; Nur Syakila, Zaharul Nadia & Iffah Atikah. May Allah blessed each and everyone of you and may all your wishes be granted by Him, insha allah.
I now declared myself 25 years old. Happy birthday mate :)
