Moment #5

This is Nasi Ayam Kukus. I've never seen this version in Spore before. In Spore, normally we would have Nasi Ayam or Nasi Penyet and etc, but this..? Nope! A plate cost me rm4 without the hashbrown of course. For those who want to try it, go to Kiosk FEP (Fakulti Ekonomi & Pengurusan) and ya, savour the taste! ^_^

I've just recently tried on this menu and it's super delicious! *two thumbs up*

The combination of the flavour is just right. I don't know why it's called kukus but I think the rice is kukus-ed thus the name for it. The brown gravy taste a bit like tasteless curry (haha) but it suits just fine with the spicy sambal and sour dalca. Plus the crispy ayam goreng and salty ikan masin! The ikan masin is hidden below the hashbrown. And a glass of iced water. Pergh. Sedaap. Personally, I think its a perfect combination of flavours. Yummy!

Speaking about foods, I've always been asked about food in Spore.

Questions like,
Dekat Spore selalu makan apa?
Makanan sana sama dengan makanan dekat Msia ke?
Spore terkenal dengan makanan apa? Contoh dekat Kelantan, Nasi Kerabu. Kalau dekat Terengganu, Nasi Dagang.

For a moment, I thinked.
It takes me a few seconds to answer.
What did I really eat in Spore...?

I've never eat Nasi Goreng Kampung before. Nor Nasi Putih with tomyam soup. Nasi Goreng USA. Nasi Goreng Cendawan. Nope. I've never eat Nasi Kerabu in Spore. Nasi Lemak yes. I've never even drink Syrup Limau (my fav. drink here ^^ ) nor Air Tembikai.

Nope.
Never.

So what did I actually eat in Spore? -.-!
And Spore is actually known as food paradise.

When you have a wonderful mum cooking superb delicious home-made meals, you won't be bothered eating outside. Home meals are certainly the best. We can't just find it anywhere else.

Hooray to all mothers!
<3

#Haha. Actually I do eat ouside food occasionally. But normally we would dine-in for fastfood. So that's explain the banyak nama makanan yang tak tau. Especially malay foods. It would just be common meals such as Mee Hongkong, Yong Tau Fu, Nasi Ambang and etc.

Suddenly feel like eating Yong Tau Fu pulaaa......Spore Yong Tau Fu is not the same as Msia's one. Our's is the soup kind that we eat with noodle. Their's is poured with concentrated gravy and eaten like rojak.

:) Maybe next time I try to post a picture of it.
