UKM student who never reached Pasar Malam at Bangi Seksyen 16 (near Shell), I would daresay he/she has no life. It's a must-go place where you can find loooots of foods (including guilty and unhealthy food). There's so much food and different kinds of drinks that sometimes you feel 'lost' and 'blur'. Too much choice. So it's very wise to make a mental note beforehand to avoid such circumstances (haha).
Pasar Malam at Seksyen 16 is always held on Tuesday and Saturday evening. Twice a week. Some common food that I always choose there is nasi kerabu, apam balik, keropok lekor, kebab, kentang pusing (cool!) , piza, goreng pisang, asam boi (favourite!), soya, durian belanda...yeah. Now I'm salivating. Lapaaar!
Foods there are not so healthy. It's deep-fried and the oil is repeatedly used. That's why I try to avoid oily foods, especially the sticks (picture shown above). Nevertheless, to eat sinful foods once in a while is forgiven ^^ And alhamdulillah. Even though it's not so hygiene (my personal thought) - not covered, exposed to unhealthy air and the pegang-pegang - alhamdulillah again, I've never been down with poisonous food.
Pasar Malam at Malaysia is certainly lively. Always pack with humans (and cats). And there's so much choice to select from. Hee. Pasar Malam at Spore certainly is nothing compared to this. Burger Ramli eh...?
