This is my favourite food in Msia!
Nasi Kerabu~
There must be a reason behind the sacred (lolz) love right? Heee. Sometimes you just fall in love with something/one and no reason can explain it. But for this, there's a reason. Belum sampai tahap unexplainable love lagi. I simply love it because of the combination taste. There's telur masin , the sayur + kerabu , the sambal, the budu and the blue rice :D We normally eat it together with fried chicken, fried fish or daging salai (never try this before). The must have item in Nasi Kerabu is the telur masin because it totally spices up the taste.
There's a way of eating Nasi Kerabu (according to my Kelantan friend). You have to mix everything up before you savour it; the kerabu, sayur, sambal and budu. But I'm not used to it. I prefer to eat it based on my own style ^^ Makan amek sikit-sikit.
I remembered during the early days in UKM, I got it confused witth Nasi Dagang (Terengganu). Once I ordered from my friend nasi dagang thinking that it's Nasi Kerabu. In the end, I had to eat Nasi Dagang for my iftar. Sob sob.
The best Nasi Kerabu I ate was during my few trips to Kelantan. Takle angz!
The taste (I feel) still lingers in my mind and heart ^^
I'm certainly going to miss Nasi Kerabu when I'm back homeland.
If I have craving for it, Kelantan-eans! (take note!), post it to me aitez!
